The Made for Legends platform underscores John Hardy’s commitment to empowering women and reshaping the jewelry industry. Each chapter invites women to embrace their own heroism through statement craftsmanship. For the third installment of the platform, forceMAJEURE led the creative direction, bringing a new narrative dimension to the brand’s evolving voice. This chapter introduced Penélope Cruz as global ambassador, alongside Adwoa Aboah, both chosen for their strength, individuality and timeless presence.

Cruz brings her natural magnetism and deep connection to sustainability and artistry, values that mirror the Bali handcrafted Lahar, Classic Chain and Tiga collections featured in the campaign. Shot by Josh Olins in collaboration with Matte Projects, the imagery captures Cruz’s quiet confidence and the jewelry’s bold elegance.

Inspired by the ethereal beauty of Bali, the campaign positioned the jewelry as both sculpture and statement, reinforcing John Hardy’s status as an icon of artisanal excellence. The campaign achieved:

  • Over 2.2 billion impressions
  • 200 percent growth in social following
  • 145 percent increase in sales
